நாடோடிகள் - சில பகிர்வுகள்

வெகு நாட்களுக்கு பிறகு தூத்துக்குடியில் உள்ள திரையரங்கில் படம் பார்க்க சென்றிருந்தேன். கூட்டம்
நிரம்பி வழிந்தது. படம் ஆரம்பித்து ஒவ்வொரு காட்சிக்கும் விசில் பறந்தது. இவ்வளவு ஆரவாரமும் 
உற்சாகமும் படம்பார்ப்பவர்களிடம் தொற்றிக்கொண்ட காரணம் என்ன என்று எண்ணியபோது கிடைத்த விடைகள் இரண்டு.
ஒன்று நட்பு. மற்றொன்று சுப்பிரமணியபுரத்தின் வெற்றிநாயகன் சசிக்குமார். சசிக்குமார் தோன்றும் காட்சிகளிலும் நட்பை
பற்றி அவர் பேசும் வசனங்களின்போதும் தியேட்டர் அதிர்கிறது.

காதலால் நட்பிற்கு ஏற்படும் வலியையும்,இதுவரை தமிழ் சினிமாவில் காட்டப்படாத பக்கங்களையும் திரையில்
செதுக்கியதற்காகவே இயக்குனரை எவ்வளவு வேண்டுமானாலும் பாராட்டலாம்.

வெயில்,பருத்திவீரன்,சுப்பிரமணியபுரம்,பூ,பசங்க வரிசையில் நாடோடிகளும் தனித்து நிற்கும் ஒரு திரைப்படம்.

எப்பொழுதும் எதையாவது தின்று கொண்டே இருக்கும் கதாநாயகி,டிசர்ட்டும் தாவணியும் அணிந்தலையும்
கதாநாயகனின் தங்கை,மகனின் காதலுக்கு உதவும் அப்பா,நான்கைந்து கைத்தடிகளுடன் சுற்றித்திரியும் உள்ளூர்
மைனர்,அரசாங்க வேலை மேல் உயிரையே வைத்திருக்கும் கதாநாயகியின் அப்பா,உள்ளாடையை அசால்டாக
தலையில் கவிழ்த்துக்கொண்டு பிச்சு உதறி இருக்கும் 'பாண்டி', சித்தி முன்பு அடித்துவிட்டு அவர் சென்ற பின் கலங்கி துடிக்கும் பாண்டியின் அப்பா, காதலுக்கு மிக முக்கிய உதவி செய்யும் "பைக்" நண்பனின் மெளனம்(ஒரு வார்த்தைகூட பேசாமல் எப்போதும் சுயீங்கம் மென்று கொண்டிருப்பார்),கதாநாயகனின் பாட்டி,படத்தின் முக்கிய காட்சிகளில் ஒலிக்கும் 'சிவசம்போ' இப்படி படம் முழுவதும் நிறைகளையே தாங்கி நகர்கிறது. ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரங்களும் ஏதேனும் ஒருவகையில் மனதோடு நெருக்கமாகிவிடுகிறார்கள். 

முதல் பாதியில் வயிறு வலிக்க சிரிக்க வைக்கும் நாடோடிகள் இடைவேளைக்கு பிறகு மனதை பிழிந்துவிடுகிறார்கள். கதாநாயகியை பிரியும் தருணத்தில் அவர் அப்பாவிடம் "உங்க நேர்மை எனக்கு பிடிச்சிருக்கு மாமா" என்று சொல்லும்போதும்
"நீ வலிச்சாலும் வலிக்கலன்னுதாண்டா சொல்வ" என்று பாண்டி சொல்லும் காட்சியிலும் கலங்க வைத்துவிடுகிறார் சசி.

•        Come out of your "comfort zone" be it a technology or a product that you are already a master in.

I am an IT Architect working with Retail Industry focusing on Multi-Channel Retail solutions. I joined IBM as a campus recruit in 1999. Along the course of my career, I have worked in various roles as a developer, senior developer, module/technical lead, application architect, lead architect. The old carpenter....

"Your life today is the result of your attitudes and choices in the past. Your life tomorrow will be the result." This is a story of an elderly carpenter who had been working for a contractor for the past 53 years. He had built many beautiful houses but now as he was getting old, he wanted to retire and lead a leisurely life with his family. So, he goes to the contractor and tells him about his plan of retiring. The contractor feels sad at the prospect of losing a good worker but agrees to the plan because the carpenter had indeed become too fragile for the tough building work. But as a last request, he asks the old carpenter to construct just one last house. The old man agrees and starts working but his heart was not in his work any more. He had lost the motivation towards work. So, he resorted to shoddy workmanship and constructed the house half-heartedly. After the house was built, the contractor came to visit his employee's last piece of work. After inspecting the house, he handed over the front door keys to the carpenter and said, "This is your new house. My gift to you." The carpenter was shocked and upset. Had he known that he was building his own house, he would have done a better job! Now, he would have to live in the house, which is not worth staying. Think of yourself as the carpenter. You work hard every day but are you giving your best? We put our least to the work we don't like or do not have interest in. Later, we get shocked at the situation we have created for ourselves and try to figure out why we didn't do it differently. Enjoy your tasks and carry on your responsibilities with pleasure and not with pain. "Life is a do-it-yourself project". Do your job enthusiastically and with devotion, a positive output and a pleasing life will certainly be on your way.

How our inner Ego sometimes misjudges a PERSON

A lady in a faded grey dress and her husband, dressed in a homespun suit walked in timidly without an appointment into the Harvard University President's outer office. The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn't even deserve to be in Harvard.
"We want to see the President "the man said softly.
"He'll be busy all day "the secretary snapped.
"We'll wait" the lady replied.
For hours the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and go away. They didn't and the secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president.
"Maybe if you see them for a few minutes, they'll leave" she said to him. The President, stern faced and with dignity, strutted toward the couple.
The lady told him "We had a son who attended Harvard for one year. He loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was accidentally killed. My husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere on campus."
The president wasn't touched....He was shocked. "Madam "he said, gruffly, " we can't put up a statue for every person who attended Harvard and died. If we did, this place would look like a cemetery."
"Oh, no," the lady explained quickly "We don't want to erect a statue. We thought we would like to give a building to Harvard."
The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and homespun suit, and then exclaimed, "A building ! Do you have any earthly idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million dollars in the physical buildings here at Harvard."
For a moment the lady was silent. The president was pleased. Maybe he could get rid of them now. The lady turned to her husband and said quietly, "Is that all it costs to start a university ? Why don't we just start our own?"
Her husband nodded. The president's face wilted in confusion and bewilderment. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford got up and walked away, traveling to Palo Alto, California where they established the University that bears their name. Stanford University, a memorial to a son that Harvard no longer cared about.
Most of the time we judge people by their outer appearance, which can be misleading.. And in this impression, we tend to treat people badly by thinking they can do nothing for us. Thus we tend to lose our potential good friends, employees or customers.
Remember
In our Life, we seldom get people with whom we want to share & grow our thought process. But because of our inner EGO we miss them forever.


It is you who have to decide with whom you are getting associated in day to day life.
